Accessible information for all

The Portale di Venezia® (Venice Portal) was intentionally created to be accessible: this means that the information contained in the Portal can be accessed by users that – due to disability – have difficulty getting the information (blind users, deaf/hard of hearing users, etc.).

Thanks to the contribution of international experts in accessibility matters, authors of guidelines and international standards on the subject collaborating in the development of the law 4/2004 (Stanca Law), the Portal is equipped with accessible management tools and graphic interfaces: it is the only city portal that can be described as accessible to all, regardless of the disability.
