Piazza San Marco
Let’s celebrate the highest tribute to the Lion of San Marco, painted on a large canvas, symbol of our city that, exceptionally, will fly up to the bell tower over the audience in the square.
To welcome him, on stage at the Gran Teatro of San Marco, a traditional venetian choir will sing the San Marco Anthem.
Twelve young ladies from Venezia, the “Marie”, together with twelve young cadets, will salute the flag. The event is a ritual full of emotions, to say goodbye to the Carnival of Venice.
